Rumor - New Products

I've been reading a lot of rumors about the upcoming Apple products...

here's some ideas..

iPhone Nano ... New iMacs .. New Mac Minis ... ( maybe Macworld 2009)

large screen iPod TOuch , tablet-style notebooks.. (later on)

Most of the rumors are from MacRumors and AppleInsider ...

Large Screen iPod Touch ( rumor )

The latest iPod Touch is a nifty little gizmo that does a lot more than play tunes, but I've always found its 3.5-inch screen too tiny for watching movies or serious Web browsing. After a few minutes of screen-tapping or finger-dragging to view Web pages designed for larger displays, well, things get tedious in a hurry. And movies? Better bring a magnifying glass.

No doubt there's a market for a bigger-screen iPod Touch, and if the latest rumors are true, that's exactly what Apple has in mind. A report from Michael Arrington of TechCrunch says that Apple is developed a Touch device with a 7- or 9-inch display, which is plenty big for video-watching, Web-surfing, gaming, and possibly even conventional desktop apps.

Details are sketchy. Apple reportedly will launch its king-size Touch in the fall of '09. According to TechCrunch, prototypes of the device are out there, and Apple and its original device manufacturers (ODMs) in Asia are working out the production details.

Malaysia's Online Apple Store

Anyone bought anything from there yet? What's the delivery time like? I heard that they promise a 2-days delivery time... interesting..

So any experiences with Malaysia's Online Apple Store?

Apple Store in Malaysia... Finally!!!

Apple has finally arrived in Malaysia. But they didn't open a retail store.. It's only their online store.. which is good enough.. that's a start..

So anyone of you who wants to get your iPods engraved , you don't have to order it through your Singaporean friends or from the US... you can get it here too...

Other perks are like 

- superb collection of 3rd party accessories like InCase.. but at the moment , that's about it.. ahaha.. i'm pretty sure that their collection of 3rd party stuff will come in very soon...

- Free shipping for anything more than RM250.. (come on , it's Apple... unless you only buy 1 item , it could be less than RM250..  hah...)

- Students & Teacher's discounts.... eligible student , faculty , staff member can get discounts.. at last!!! I'm not so sure on the procedures , but at least it's something for the students..
