Firewire 400 - how often do you use it?

Just curious ... how many of you can't live without the Firewire 400 port which is by the way , removed from all the latest Macs .. it's basically being replaced by Firewire 800 ..

    I hate to live without Firewire Port...... many of my HD device comes with Firewire port.

    but the converter ar.. :) 400 to 800.... :)
